The v5000i manages a passably bright picture for daytime viewing, though it’s greatly improved with lights dimmed

Theres also auto keystone, but the more useful adjustment is an 8-point corner fit.

The v5000i offers a greater range of picture setup options than typically found on ultra short throw projectors.

The v5000i can beam a sufficiently bright image for daytime viewing in its Bright picture mode.

With this selected, I measured peak brightness on a 10% window pattern at 125 nits.

Black measured 0.095 nits in the same mode, resulting in a contrast ratio of 1,021:1.

BenQ’s sizeable remote features a fully backlit keypad and built-in mic for Google Assistant voice commands

This makes it a great option for daytime sports viewing and it also has good built-in sound.
