His work onHalo: Combat Evolvedand the subsequentHalotitles helped give the series its distinctive futuristic-yet-grounded aesthetic.
Lehto would go on to contribute to every otherHalogame made by developer Bungie.
It’ll be fascinating to see what he does next.
