For a start, there’s its design.

Leica’s given the phone a lovely textured finish and, yes, a lens cap.

On a more practical level, the Leitz Phone 3 also has a lot of new software touches.

The feature I really like the sound of, though, is the lens simulations.

The combined cost of those three lenses is $21,085 / 18,220 / AU$35,070.

What about the actual cameras?

As you’d hope from a Leica-branded camera, the camera hardware itself is pretty strong too on paper.

Hardware-wise, that’s comparable to theiPhone 15’s 48MP 1/1.28-inch sensor.

This is all backed up by some other interesting software features, too.

This is particularly handy for architectural photography and helps you check that buildings are standing up straight.

But this also comes with big downsides.
