I started casually learning Hindi and Arabic on Duolingo - and I meanverycasually - almost a year ago.
316 days ago, to be exact, if you go off my Duolingo streak.
Playing music on my phone was fun at first, although I yearned to use a physical keyboard instead.
I almost abandoned the whole app - until Duolingo Music was announced.
Late last year,Duolingo launched its music learning program, initially geared toward piano.
This was incredibly lucky for me, because I had started taking piano lessons just a few months earlier!

Off to a great start!
Can we have actual lessons, yo?
There have been no lessons about chords or scales, octaves, and accidentals.
Depressingly, this is about as complex as it gets.
Would I recommend it?
I didnt need to revise what Duolingo taught me, as Id already learned it myself ages ago.
As for what could be done to improve it, Im not entirely sure what to suggest.
Although there are better apps out there, I have to wonder if anything can really replace in-person music tutoring.
Overall, I cant really pinpoint whats keeping me going on Duolingos music course.
I used Duolingo music for four months - and Ive quickly outgrown it.
