Below weve listed five key things you better know about 2024s OLED TVs.
One area it struggled with, until last years LG C3, was brightness.
The LG C4 (pictured) is brighter in-person than its predecessor, the LG C3.
Dimmer than mini-LED and even some mid-range LEDs, its one of the trade-offs of buying an OLED.
More and more OLEDs are improving brightness levels, but it is often limited to flagship models.
Naturally then, we had high expectations for theSamsung S90D.

But, this panel lottery does dampen the excitement.
It also didnt possess the same processing power or brightness of other OLED TVs.
Its because of all this that I named theLG B4 as my most anticipated TV of 2024.
The Samsung S90D (pictured) will be subject to a panel ‘lottery’, meaning different OLED panels will be used - even in larger models such as the 65-inch pictured.
